Can somebody point me to solid documentation on how to use xfs_grow in
Linux?
My situation is simple. With 3ware's latest 9.2.0 Linux driver for their
9500S series of SATA RAID cards, it is possible to add disks to a RAID-5 array
to increase the array's size. So, for example, if you have a 12-port card with
8 drives, it's possible to add 4 drives to the array in the future and
perform what 3ware calls a "migration" action. (With migration, you can also
change the stripe size of the array).
However, after completing the migration, it's still necessary to grow the
filesystem in order to take advantage of the extra space.
So, my question is -- how do I grow an xfs filesystem on Linux? And, of
course, retain my existing data?
Thanks in advance for the pointers.
