I have seen a similar problem on an NFS server. It is serving boxes providing
www, ftp, and rsync services.

3Ware (3w-9xxx) RAID controller card
2 gigs RAM
2.8GHz P4
Dual e1000
Fedora Core 2


The system was very unstable, but the most recent kernel-2.6.10-1.741_FC3 has
made things better. I'm still getting:
