I would *very* seriously consider something more recent that 2.4.18. A number of important fixes have been made since then. Perhaps you are specifying this version becomes it's a vendor kernel? If so then that's another situation again (there have been some vendor kernels when used with external XFS patches don't work whereas mainline with the same patches will). --cw |
