It's typo, mostly, obviously I meant "filesystem," I'm just thinking of
the installer's Disk Druid partitioning at the same time.

I certainly don't have much faith in it, hence the test system. The
installer kernel seems to know enough about XFS to mount a fs r/w so in
theory it'll work. I don't normally have XFS /boot anyway so that much
shouldn't be a problem.
OTOH, the FC2 installer is half-baked in more ways than just XFS support
- I've tried the text mode installer on three different machines and had
it randomly fail on each - so all bets are off.
Well, I'll try it tomorrow, if only to say "Nope, that doesn't work."
