I didn't think about it actually. As I recall there have been
some bug reports from xfs users who had CONFIG_XFS_DEBUG=y and
they were suggested not to enable it unless asked to :)
Yes, that definitely may be the reason why I didn't enable it.

I'll turn it on and re-test if desired.
