There is no such xfsprogs as "2.9.3" but I assume that since you're using
gentoo, you've got ancient xfsprogs, and this bug comes up often from gentoo 
users.

Please try recent xfsprogs from 
ftp://oss.sgi.com/projects/xfs/cmd_rpms
and if that doesn't work, please reopen this bug.
If it does work, please file a bug with gentoo to update xfsprogs.
