Greetings,
I've just acquired a slew of RHES-3.0 boxes that are running a pesky
java application that won't run well unless it has NPTL support. So
that basically rules out (AFAIK) using a vanilla kernel.
I've managed to convert the filesystem over to XFS on them. WHat i'm
wondering is are there any recent RHES-3.0 compatible kernels with XFS
support out there?
I found this:
ftp://oss.sgi.com/projects/xfs/testing/release-1.3.3-pre1/
but after reading some old list threads, there were some questions over
whether the RPMs were built correctly. Are they safe to use?
Is anyone else maintaining kernel RPMs that work well in RHES-3.0?
thanks!
