Summary: Corrupted filesystem when using a XFS boot partition
           Product: Linux XFS
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: High
         Component: XFS kernel code
        AssignedTo: xfs-master@xxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: magsilva@xxxxxxxxxxx

I'm currently using Conectiva Linux Snapshot, kernel 2.6.3. I set up a XFS
partition as boot
partition with grub. But doing this corrupted the filesystem. Fortunately, I
could fix the
corruption using xfs_recover (but could not boot with that partition even using
it). I searched
grub's bugzilla and found out some reports saying that XFS doesn't support
being used as boot
partition
(http://savannah.gnu.org/search/?words=xfs&type_of_search=bugs&group_id=68&Search=Search&exact=1&max_rows=25).

Is this true or it's some bug within XFS?
