OK, the changes to the previous kernel are some Red Hat patches and
lm_sensors/i2c upgrades. do you remember which atrpms kernel you were
using? Below are the changes to 2.4.22-1.2166.nptl_35.rhfc1.at.

There were no changes to md/lvm, but perhaps another touched subsystem
has become instable or incompatible to XFS?
