Sorry, but please ask Montavista for support.  Kernel 2.4.17 is before
extremly old and we don't have a chance to support that anymore.  Even worse
montavista is know for lots (sometimes braindead) modifications to their
kernels that we don't know off and couldn't support even if we wanted to.
