Keep in mind my recent personal experience. I tested my memory with
memtest86 for two days with the extended option and found no errors. I
compiled the kernel and found a SIG-11 that happens at different places
every compile. ...I switched the memory and the compiles and memtest86
both worked successfully. ...in other words... it could really still be
