I retested current xfs version with bonnie.
bonnie++-1.02c
kernel-2.6.1
SGI-XFS CVS-2004-01-14_06:00_UTC with ACLs, realtime, no debug enabled
xfsprogs-2.5.5

meta-data=/mnt/mnt2              isize=256    agcount=8, agsize=16000 blks
         =                       sectsz=512
data     =                       bsize=4096   blocks=128000, imaxpct=25
         =                       sunit=0      swidth=0 blks, unwritten=1
naming   =version 2              bsize=4096
log      =internal               bsize=4096   blocks=1200, version=1
         =                       sectsz=512   sunit=0 blks
realtime =none                   extsz=65536  blocks=0, rtextents=0

In my previous test (older xfs snapshot, older kernel) bonnie was able to run
test with "-u 0:0 -s 0 -n 500" when I used "ikeep" option with mount.
Now I created 500M loop device with xfs. I mounted it without additional options
(I think "ikeep" is default.)
But now bonnie ended with error:
# /tmp/bonnie++-1.02c/bonnie++ -d /mnt/mnt2/test -u 0:0 -s 0 -n 500
Using uid:0, gid:0.
Create files in sequential order...Can't create file 0511995sgY3t723y2
Cleaning up test directory after error.

I repeated test 3 times, the only difference was name of file.
There is no log in /var/log/messages nor dmesg. (I have "5" in
/proc/sys/fs/xfs/error_level.)
When error occured FS was approximately 30% full.
