I see the following in config.log, however I honestly still do not know what the
failed test program should be:
####################
configure:3354: checking uuid.h presence
configure:3365: /usr/local/bin/gcc3 -E conftest.c
configure:3364:18: uuid.h: No such file or directory
configure:3371: $? = 1
configure: failed program was:
| #line 3356 "configure"
| /* confdefs.h. */
|
| #define PACKAGE_NAME ""
| #define PACKAGE_TARNAME ""
| #define PACKAGE_VERSION ""
| #define PACKAGE_STRING ""
| #define PACKAGE_BUGREPORT ""
| /* end confdefs.h. */
| #include <uuid.h>
configure:3390: result: no
configure:3426: checking for uuid.h
configure:3433: result: no
configure:3461: checking uuid/uuid.h usability
configure:3474: /usr/local/bin/gcc3 -c -O2 -funroll-loops -ffast-math
-fomit-frame-pointer -fno-excepti
ons conftest.c >&5
################

Is it confest.c ? If so, then i have no such file. Sorry if i'm a bit dense.
