Maybe wait until FC2 (ETA is April, first test ISOs February) which
has offical 2.6 support?

I think the best thing you can do is to ask for it at
fedora-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx or anaconda-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx and
offer yourself as a tester. There have been various discussions on
enabling XFS in FC2's installer, here is the last one:

http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-devel-list/2003-December/msg01323.html

So in general Red Hat wants to activate XFS support during
installation, but hasn't yet decided on the user interaction. A GUI
offered XFS would be optimal, a cmdline "linux xfs" boot installer
option would be better than nothing. I just hope it doesn't get
forgotten in the rather tight release schedule of FC2. :(
