This was discussed on some other lists. It looks like Marcelo keeps a
seperate tree with just critial updates in order to be able to push out a
new kernel quickly in an emergency. I think this is an admirable
practice. I'd rather have a secure kernel out more quickly even if it is
sans XFS for a few more weeks.
