In code you get from SGI (cvs, etc) - yes, almost in lock-step.

In code you get from Marcelo and Linus, there will be gaps due to
different release schedules.

The important step is that after all this time XFS will finally
be in both stable and experimental kernels as a default option.

... unless of course 2.6.0 comes out before 2.4.24 does in which
case XFS will be in the latest stable and the previous stable
series :)
