Known problem. I reported it in August. Turned out to be a problem in the dev-mapper layer, so reported to sistina's dm list. I got feedback from Joe Thornber in october (I think) that the problem was fixed in dm, but I just checked that the problem still exists in 2.6.0 final. You might want to check in with the dm-devel list:
