I'm in the camp that doesn't think irqs are the problem. :)

cleanly unmount* the filesystem, then point xfs_check and xfs_repair
at it.  xfs_repair -n will do a preliminary check without actually
doing any modifications.

*if you can't unmount it and have to whack the box to unbusy it,
just do a quick mount/umount before you run repair.
