This is something I plan to look at (I just got our copy
of RHEL today as well).  Not sure when it will be done, but it
is something I will do.

The kernel is probably >this close< to not needing additional patches,
and just distributing a module... but probably is missing a thing or
two, probably requiring core kernel patches in the end.
