The failure pattern I reported in #259 - 'xfs_freeze gets stuck in "D" state in the function "down"' - does not appear when running linux-2.4-xfs of Tue Sep 30 13:28:08 2003. The test script which I used to trigger the problem originally has been running hourly for over a week, no problems. I'm cautiously optimistic that the problem went away. PS: I tried posting this as a follow-up in the bugzilla database, but the "add an attachment" thing (which seemed to be the only mechanism) doesn't work if you don't have an attachment (I didn't). Can it be done? |
