Get kernel and userland components from
http://atrpms.physik.fu-berlin.de/name/kernel/ and
http://atrpms.physik.fu-berlin.de/name/xfs/
If you want to have a XFS root partition, you either need to do that
manually with copying the root back and forth (see the FAQ), or better
grab an installer and upgrade your kernel/xfs components to the
above.
Upgrading XFS as well as doing your RH7.3 errata is best done with apt/yum.
