Tech support,

I installed xfs on my linux box using your iso
(forRH-9.0-SGI-XFS-1.3.0.v1.iso). I ran into a number of problems.

        1) Can't boot from iso because it doesn't recognize SCSI system disks.
Looking back, I might have been able to accomplish this if I had created
a block driver disk. However, I just mounted the iso image and did an
rpm install.

        2) Once installed, I converted all but my / partition to xfs.
Everything went absolutely fine. However, once I tried to convert the /
partition to xfs I was unable to boot. Luckily, I was able to go back
to my ext3 filesystem and get my machine up.

        3) I downloaded the linux-2.4.22 kernel and the xfs-2.4.22-all-i386.bz2
file. Compiled and installed the kernel, modified my /etc/fstab file,
and still couldn't boot. Linux kept trying to mount my / partition as
ext3. When I listed the modules that were loaded, xfs was not one of
them.

        4) Finally, after compiling xfs into the kernel and creating a new
initrd image, I was able to boot.

My question is if you can tell me what entry to add to
/etc/modules.conf to get the xfs module to load on boot up.
