The xfsprogs package uses libtool for building its objects; no problem
there. However, it requires that libtool be installed on the host
system during the configure process, but this should not be necessary.
The proper way to integrate libtool into a source package includes a
copy of the final libtool script itself (not the whole libtool
distribution) _into_ the source package, so that the package can be
built without the host system needing to have libtool installed. Can someone look into improving this situation? |
