I tried to let it live like that but the XFS filesystem crashed
again today without possible recovery :(
/var/log/messages:
xfs_force_shutdown(ide1(22,1),0x8) called from line 1071 of file xfs_trans.c.
Return address = 0xc01c3bf3
Filesystem "ide1(22,1)": Corruption of in-memory data detected. Shutting down
filesystem: ide1(22,1)
Please umount the filesystem, and rectify the problem(s)
xfs_iunlink_remove: xfs_trans_read_buf() returned an error 5 on ide1(22,1).
Returning error.
xfs_repair /dev/hdc1:
Phase 6 - check inode connectivity...

failed.
Abort
[tru@fly ~]$ sudo mount /Bis/scratch
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdc1,
or too many mounted file systems
I could only reformat it.
Thanks for your time.
