Very similar situation here, except we'll be using Thursby's ADmitMac product on the single Mac that we have to support, instead of netatalk on the server. The server is part of a Windows 2000 Active Directory domain, so it made more sense to just make the Mac participate in that instead of setting up Linux-based security only for that one machine.
