If I start with a 5-disk raid-5 array and mkfs.xfs with options "-d
su=64k,sw=4 [-l version=2]", then expand that array with another disk, will
XFS still correctly align the data, after expansion? My tentative conclusion
is that XFS will continue to write data in 4x64k "chunks" though it could
now write in 5x64k ones, and the data will still be properly aligned but not
optimally sized. Is this right? (am I even close ...)
Thanks,
Murthy
