Check the .discinfo file on the RH CD
it should look like this:
1047611055.799229 <- This number has to match the XFS iso
Red Hat Linux 9
i386
1
RedHat/base
RedHat/RPMS
RedHat/pixmaps

If is doesn't match then probably have a newer version of
the RH cds?

You have a couple of options here.

Either copy all the rpms from RH cd 1-3 and the XFS installer iso into a
directory that can be nfs mounted at install time.
<nfs exported dir>/RedHat/RPMS/
you will then need to copy the base dir from the XFS installer iso to
<nfs exported dir>/RedHat/base/
us the boot.iso or the flp images from the images dir on the XFS
installer iso.

Rebuild the XFS installer iso with the correct .discinfo.
The Makefile in the rebuildme dir has a rule with the correct
mkisofs cmd.

Find the original RH9 cd's.
