Hallo,
I have a following problem:
when I try to mkfs.xfs my /dev/sda1, I got an error message saing:
mkfs.xfs: /dev/sda1 contains a mounted filesystem
but this is not thuth according to cat /etc/mtab:
any helpful suggestions?

<devicename> is required unless -d name=xxx is given.
Internal log by default, size is scaled from 1,000 blocks to 32,768 blocks
based on the filesystem size. Default log reaches its largest size at 1TB.
This can be overridden with the -l options or using a volume manager with a
