Hi, there is one problem with your installation CD for XFS/RedHad: It defaults to the XFS file system on both /boot and / partitions, where the default boot loader (grub) is unable to boot from an XFS partition (at least, as shipped with RedHat). An installation using the default settings will result in an unbootable system, what works is using ext3 for the /boot partition. It would probably make it easier for quite a few users if that were the default in future versions. Regards, Stefan Werner |
