I had a phone call a few months ago with a Redhat sales guy who
conferenced in an engineer, and it left we mith the impression that any
3rd party patches to the kernel (i.e. into it's SRPM and associated
source tree) would render it unsupported.
I can understand why they'd do that, of course.
OTOH, you can understand why I had to politely turn down the RH sales
guy.. the price issue was bad enough but the restrictions are what really
killed it.
