hello,
I tried to boot the RedHat 9.0 XFS installer CD on a Dell
Inspiron 4150 laptop (2GHz P4, 1GB mem, etc - running RH7.3+XFS
now) and I only get the following error:
First, ISOLINUX flashes a line across the screen saying
"ISOLINUX 2.00 ..." and then the main error appears:
isolinux: Disk error 04, AX = 4200, drive 82
Boot failed: press any key to retry.
I tried using the boot floppies included on that XFS boot CD,
but the "bootdisk.img" doesn't appear to have any contents, and
is not bootable. The CD boots just fine in my desktop machine.
I suspect it's just something odd about that laptop (would not
be the first time). Is there any word on getting updated boot
floppy images for RH9?
