Using the snapshot from Dec 18 2002 for 2.4.20 and upgrading a few systems from 2.4.10 to 2.4.20, we noticed some file corruption. It has been rather easily repairable, but it is quite odd. The actions we took are like any other kernel upgrade. Install the new kernel, add entries to grub or lilo, reboot. The one thing that we noted was different though was xfsprogs hadn't been upgraded on the boxes. I was curious if something like that would cause this behavior or if it is a 2.4.10->2.4.20 problem? TIA. -- Austin Gonyou <austin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Coremetrics, Inc. |
