XFS version 1 on linux

Is there any plan to incorporate XFS version 1 into XFS for linux? We have
50+ DVD's burned on an SGI that would be very helpful to read on a linux
box, but they are of course version 1.

If not, are there any other development projects for XFS, or a known
workaround for transferring files, other than over the network?
