I have a SuSE 8.0 box I'm trying to update to xfs 1.2
I have everything updated but xfsdump.
I downloaded the xfsdump-2.2.3-1.src.rpm, but when I try rpm --rebuild, I'm
getting
===
checking for sed... /usr/bin/sed
checking for echo... /bin/echo
checking for libtool... /usr/bin/libtool
checking how to run the C preprocessor... gcc -E
checking for uuid/uuid.h... yes
checking for uuid_generate in -luuid... yes
checking for curses.h... yes
checking for initscr in -lcurses... no
FATAL ERROR: could not find a valid curses library.
make: *** [include/builddefs] Error 1
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.14028 (%build)
===
In general I know the issue is that SuSE uses ncurses, not curses, but what do
I have to do to get this to upgrade?
TIA
