Sorry about not including it at first.  Here you go:

There was an error installing
kernel-2.4.18-18SGI_XFS_1.2.0.  This can
indicate media failure, lack of disk 
space, and/or hardware problems.  This is
a fatal error and your install will be
aborted.  Please verify your media and try
your install again.

Press the OK button to reboot your system.


That's it.  I also looked at
/mnt/sysimage/root/install.log for clues:
Installing xfsdump-2.2.1-0.
Installing kernel-2.4.18-18SGI_XFS_1.2.0.

I did try verifying the media, and everything checked
out.
