Where did the XFS code come from?  (CVS, Linus, your distribution, etc): from 
SGI

Description of Problem:
Sometimes files in /var/lock is unreadable and undelete even by root. I usally
fix this problem by rebooting and using xfs_repair. And delete stalled dir in
/var/lock


How Reproducible:
often

Steps to Reproduce:
1. a unclean reboot'll cause this problem
2.

Actual Results:
is not stalled removed in /var/lock.

Expected Results:

stalled files should be removed
Additional Information:
using v4l device'll reboot uncleanly make this error more likly to appera.
