I have now a stalled file in /usr/locks/subsys/vmware. Iam unable to delete this
file as root and see it with ls. rm vmware
rm: cannot lstat `vmware': Unknown error 990

touch vmware
touch: creating `vmware': Unknown error 990

[knutjbj@knut knutjbj]$ ls /var/lock/vmware
ls: /var/lock/vmware: No such file or directory
