           Summary: XFS memory corruption
           Product: Linux XFS
           Version: Current
          Platform: IA32
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: critical
          Priority: High
         Component: XFS kernel code
        AssignedTo: xfs-master@xxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: waitt@xxxxxxxx

What kernel are you using:

2.4.19 stock plus 2.4.19 XFS full patchset from SGI website
Running rh7.3, XFS volume is on a Dell Powervault with LSI Logic MegaRAID 1.57

Description of Problem:
I ran XFS 1.0 and 1.1 without any problems for 18 months.
After upgrading to rh7.3 and 2.4.19, within 24 hrs I got this:

Oct 24 05:05:22 wolf kernel: xfs_force_shutdown(sd(8,17),0x8) called from line
1041 of file xfs_trans.c. Return address = 0xc020bca8
Oct 24 05:05:22 wolf kernel: Corruption of in-memory data detected. Shutting
down filesystem: sd(8,17)
Oct 24 05:05:22 wolf kernel: Please umount the filesystem, and rectify the
problem(s)

I have no idea how to replicate this, and I'm not sure I want to ;)
