Hello,
Our NAS product has an XFS file system on top of RAID and LVM, but we never
run xfs_fsr.
I have a few questions about xfs_fsr:
1. Should we be running xfs_fsr periodically?
2. If we continue not to use xfs_fsr will the file system become heavily
fragmented over time?
3. Has anybody ever experienced any file system corruption using xfs_fsr?
4. By reading the man page it seems that xfs_fsr just runs for a certain
amount of time, is there an option to have it run until all the file systems
specified by -m are defragmented?
Thanks,
-Marc
