I don't know about xfs/linux or any other common linux FS, but I _assume_ the 
newly GPLed FS from Oracle (OCFS) supports O_DIRECT.

Unfortunately you have to join OTN to get access, but it is free, and they 
rarely if ever send out e-mails.

I assume OCFS will start showing up in Redhat Advanced Server at some point.
