The use of make_bad_inode in xfs is going to have to be removed somehow,
basically what is happening is that the sync activity is using vn_get on
an inode which is being torn down. This creates a bad inode which it then
tears down. If xfs_iget is being called on the same inode number at the
same time, it is getting the bad inode, and returning EIO. This is
happening in a create path which is not expecting this type of failure.
