[KDB & 2.5.40]: Kai's changes to kbuild (as of today) breaks kdb compile

Hi,

I don't know if folks are aware, but Kai has made some major 
tweaks to the main Makefile which require reworking the KDB 
related configury into the Makefile.  Not quite sure how to 
proceed, but I thought I'd see if anyone had any ideas. 
Kai's message, of course, can be found on the kernel mailing 
list.
