Yes, and since the box oopsed there was some slight damage. The corrupt log 
kind of damaged.

We were too late in noticing (it was causing 10 second network stalls) and 
rebooting the box before it died.

The 4Gb limit affects all cards. Use snmp if you want to count something.
That's what it's ment for anyways.

Driver can be quite large yes. Although I remember a xfs module of 12MB as 
well that had all symbols compiled in :-)

I have seen some reports and troubles with people and the Qlogic cards. So 
that is one of the biggest pointers yes.
