Using the 'memmap' command in kdb, I see that there are 0x3434 0-count pages. As I understand it, these pages should be free for use. Looking at the zone_t structures for the only pg_data_t structure (referenced by pgdat_list), I see 0x98 free pages in the DMA zone, and 0x120 free pages in the Normal zone. (There is no HIGHMEM zone on this box.) So where are all the other free pages hidden? Dale Stephenson steph@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx |
