Hello,

In my system (redhat 7.2), if I boot the computer up to
2.4.9-13SGI_XFS_1.0.2smp kernel, even the directory is
symbolic linked for 5 times from one mounted drive to another
mounted drive, the files are visible in this symbolic linked
directory.

With the kernel which are 2.4.17, 2.4.18, the error message
was "Too many levels of symbolic links". Even 2.4.19 with
linux/fs/xfs/linux/xfs_iops.c - 1.173 update, I receive the
same error message.

The i-node number of this directory is 3003418.

        2.4.9-13SGI_XFS_1.0.2smp :

ls -i Test # Test is a symbolic linked directory
        30038418 Test

        ls Test
        check.sh libglx.txt MP3

        2.4.19-xfs :

ls -i Test # Test is a symbolic linked directory
        30038418 Test

        ls Test
Test: Too many levels of symbolic links
