At first, thanks for your quickly response.
I am not a expert in linux. Normally I work with Irix.
I have download the patch of XFS for 2.4.17, but after I have patched
it ,
I try to rebuild the kernel but (make bzImage) , but it give me
several compilation errors.
In any case I have one doubt:
Can I use that 2.4.17XFS patch from a original ( without
XFS previous version) 2.4.17 kernel?
Or
Have I to install 2.4.9(with XFS) , then upgrade to 2.4.17 and
finally to patch with 2.4.17XFS?
On the other hand , I have download from CVS the 2.4.19 version, but I
have error compiling the kernel.
Exactly the error is that the file kernel.h is including a file
called stdarg.h , and this file is not found.
I think that I have done fine all the steps(mrproper,config...), but it
is the firs time that a CLEAN kernel give me errors.
Thanks a lot for your help.
Salud y suerte,Jose.
