I have a large number of machines I use RSYNC with and they have yet to
show a problem with RSYNC.
This includes RSYNCs of complete mozilla.org CVS mirrors (local network and
remote network) and RSYNCs of our full product disk. (In otherwords, very
large, multi-hundred-megabyte RSYNC operations)
This is to both SCSI and IDE based systems (and mixed SCSI/IDE too)
