I have severals of theses oops and blame them all on a faulty Nvida driver.
I upgraded the Nvida driver from 1.0-2880 to 1.0-2960 3 weeks ago and have not seen the oops afterwards.

FYI, I had one oops of the nVidia driver as well, the same one, and it was 2960. I'm wondering if your above line has a typographic error, it says you upgraded from the higher number 2880 to the lower number 2960. If you meant you changed from 2960 to 2880, then I will do this too (even though so far I have had only one oops, and it did not interfere with the normal operation of the machine until shutdown, when swap would not umount).
