Just as a point of note. We run twelve 2550's in production taking ~75
to 100million hits/day. We run *nothing* but XFS. Also, just recently I
brought up a 6650, P4 box, and run only XFS there as well. One thing I
always do though, and is a good idea, is to use the -aa tree. It has XFS
support, no code changes, just incorporation, as well as lots of other
goodies for good systems like this.

Of note at this time on the 6650, I'm running 2.4.19-rc2-aa1.
In production it's 2.4.10 + xfs patches. With all honesty, it has been
"uberstable" besides a couple of issues we've had, but that was our own
stupidity, and nothing to do with XFS or hardware. (qlogic stuff)

Are you running this server specifically for NFS purposes? If so, you
might want to try the latest CVS, as well as looking at using the -aa
tree. Personally, I love XFS for what it does. It's been the most
resiliant, and stable FS we've run, not in the kernel tree.
