We've been talking about moving it back. Even if I do that, I still want to make it a little less knowledgable about XFS. >The current code is of no use for other filesystems anyway.. I see no reason for anyone to start a new DMAPI project from scratch. This code can eventually be massaged into shape. The (relatively) recent fh_to_dentry and dentry_to_fh VFS hooks go a long way toward making this possible. Does anyone have an have an opinion on moving the dmapi code back to fs/xfs/dmapi? Dean |
